Little Barrie New EP
Little Barrie are preparing a new single for October 16th and it’ll be released as a limited edition 10″.
Four tracks will be featured on the vinyl EP, including lead song Pin That Badge which is taken from the forthcoming Stand Your Ground album (expected to be released in the new year). Full track listing can be found below.
The single is the first new material since 2005’s debut LP We Are Little Barrie and sees the band working in the studio with co-producer Dan The Automator.
Speaking about the album sessions, guitarist and vocalist Barrie says: “We thought it might have more of a Lee Dorsey, Tony Joe White influence but then we started getting into ’50’s guitar sounds and it went a bit darker”.
Meanwhile, Barrie Cadogan, who has previously stepped in as guest guitarist on Morrissey’s 2004 tour, continues his stint as guitarist with Primal Scream.
